I hate politics with a passion and it infuriates me that I keep finding them at my doorstep.
Unfortunately, the events of the past week leave me feeling that I cannot stay neutral and pretend nothing has changed. Collectively, we have crossed a threshold and cannot go back.
I’m an anarchist at heart. I believe in personal sovereignty above all and that we as individuals and communities are better at taking care of each other and solving our problems than any government or institution. I also don’t trust institutions – I work with them where necessary and I only engage in politics tactically. I am not left or right, and I don’t think my opinions matter in my line of work.
Yours don’t, either. It’s why I don’t give prospective clients a test before I work with them or ask what they think about charged topics. I don’t care and it’s not my business. My role as a healer and coach is to remain as neutral as possible, push back where I can offer perspective, and not cast judgment on my clients. If I can’t do that, I’m not the right person for them.
It’s different when people believe you should die because you disagree with them. For me, the assassination of Charlie Kirk is not about the man – he was a moderate evangelical Christian and there was a lot I disagreed with him on. His life, his work, and his presence had very little significance to me.
Watching people celebrate his death and mischaracterize his statements has shaken me deeply. Not with fear or dread but fury – fury at the lack of humanity. Fury at people dancing on his grave because of what they think he said and not what he actually said. Fury at those taking statements out of context to make him sound like he was a monster hence continuing the dehumanization that led to this happening in the first place.
This is one of the quotes that is used to justify Charlie’s murder:
“I can’t stand the word empathy, actually.”
The full quote is:
“I can’t stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new-age term, and it does a lot of damage. I much prefer the word compassion, and I much prefer the word sympathy. Empathy is where you try to feel someone’s pain and sorrows as if they’re your own. Compassion allows for understanding.”
First – I would like to know when accurately characterizing someone’s argument made you a Nazi. I’d also like to know when it meant that you endorse or agree with them.
Second – that statement is refreshing to me. I think the word “empath” is used by a lot of covert narcissists who play at being vulnerable and sensitive to prey on people.
I also think that a lot of well-meaning people who are still processing horrendous experiences adopt that label. I think they’re learning to cope and evolve past what happened to them and they turn their trauma responses into something heroic even though it hurts them and they need better boundaries. His perspective is very similar to my own.
Do I deserve to have a bullet put in my brain because I agree with him on something? The message a lot of you are sending is that you’d say yes.
His daughters were in the front row when he was shot. Their nervous systems have been wired by this trauma and they are so young any memories of their father will come from videos and audio recordings. Anyone who cheered for this or said that it is in any way justifiable is a monster and if you are among them you are not welcome on this site, in my life, or in my practice.
If you are among them, I don’t wish you harm. I am not a good fit for you and you are not a good fit for me. Frankly, I don’t think healing services or coaching or spells will do anything for you until you fix your heart but you are welcome to try with someone else.
You can’t fix your heart when your identity is anchored to a label. When you’re defined by a party or a social movement you erase yourself, deny your sovereignty, and hand the reins of your destiny to other people. It’s how you avoid learning who you really are instead of doing the great work. You get a ready-made community and purpose at the cost of your soul.
Witches and Spiritualists Should Know Better
We’re in the middle of a renaissance when it comes to spirituality and the occult but it’s a bit of a mess. Anyone who’s gone off the deep end and has an ounce of charisma can go on TikTok and amass thousands of followers. They will uncritically parrot every word that person says and it becomes a defacto cult until that person either stops posting, converts to Christianity, or the ones that follow them get bored and eat their own.
Politics is woven deeply into most of that kind of content and there’s a near uniformity of thought to the point it feels like a creepy science fiction movie. MK Ultra never ended; it got franchised.
We’re not all supposed to think the same, and we sure as hell should not be shilling propaganda for either of the major parties.
I have past life memories from the French revolution. I know how this goes. People distrust the ones in power and say you can’t trust a word they say and they’ve corrupted everything and have their agents everywhere but when it comes to their particular flavor of propaganda they don’t do any critical thinking. They’re the same as the Christians who believe we live in a deeply corrupt world with a government run by a secret cabal but somehow their bible and their faith is the one thing that hasn’t been touched.
The ones pushing the current propaganda never put much thought into where it came from and who at the top is served by them regurgitating it.
We all know the ones at the top hire astrologers and practitioners of various stripes despite largely demonizing this stuff or making it out to be superstitious nonsense. Given that occult symbolism is everywhere, it’s obvious occultists run the world.
Those occultists don’t like competition. They’re the ones responsible for witch hunts. They’ll let knowledge spread when they need new recruits then engineer a new wave of intolerance when they’ve picked the best of the lot and shut down anyone at ground level who would be capable of subverting or stopping them.
That’s exactly what the articles claiming that Etsy witches hexed Charlie were designed to do. You can expect more of that, and there’s a lot of people who make that easy for them.
Witches more than any other group have no business taking hardline stances with any political party because those parties will turn around and destroy them as soon as they’re not useful.
The solution is not to go back into hiding or not be active in politics – that’s an indvidual choice and there can be merits to participating or abstaining. No – never let your loyalty to party become stronger than your loyalty to your practice, to yourself, and to those you care about. Hell – you can boil that down to never allowing causes to supersede your humanity.
This is a fundamental and bleedingly obvious lesson that a lot of people have failed to learn. There is no excuse for this. I know the propaganda has been laid on thick, but any student of history should know better than to fall in lockstep with any ideology that offers no room for disagreement or talking to people with different beliefs.
Anytime we are pushed to blindly demonize other people we should be asking questions. The way that people blindly believed all of the worst things about Charlie mirrors how smear campaigns happen at workplaces and schools. It mirrors how people who are guilty of nothing – or of very minor things – get chased off the internet like they are the same as the worst felons rotting in prison while people who have done unforgivable things continue their livestreams like nothing happened.
Your consciousness and your attention is key to your power. When you give your attention to these things and blindly accept what you are told you are giving your power away to something else and you are allowing them to use your power against you.
Everyone is only ever defeated by themselves. A foe without weaknesses can’t be bested. The ones who have run this world are not that powerful but they are very good at tricking people into using their power in self-defeating and self-destructive ways.
Modern politics is a perfect reflection of that. Do you really think you’d be able to post about class consciousness if posting hate toward billionaires didn’t benefit somebody at the top? All this hate gets poured into figures like Elon Musk but instead of weakening him he has become a god in many people’s minds because their resentment toward him gives him more power in their lives than they have.
And that resentment is an ugly thing. It’s a corrosive force that warps someone inside and out. It’s why I’m deaf to any talk of revolution – my past life memories and observations from this life tell me that the person standing next to me would be worse than the existing system if they ever got a taste of power.
I don’t think there is any prosperity, liberation or joy to be found in trying to topple the system or focusing on it. Our biggest issue as people is that we do a poor job of taking care of ourselves and each other. Money and resources are an energy, and the ones who hold so much of it don’t have their positions because they excel at anything or because they are deceptive and control us; they have their positions because most of us are not compatible with the energies of prosperity that they embody and what flows to them does so in part because it has nowhere else to go.
This is not the same thing as justifying the terrible things they do or saying the system has no relevance to us whatsoever, but rather that a focus on building up ourselves and our communities – and guarding what we cultivate with a fortress of mutual love and will – would accomplish far more in changing this world for the better than resentment toward the rich and it’s where I’m putting my focus. I have no time or tolerance for anything in my personal life that’s incompatible with that vision.
I want to see the old structures rot from their irrelevance. I’ve lost my taste for bloodshed, and I am tired of watching people repeat the same mistakes across many lifetimes. Conflict is unavoidable but it is senseless when those engaged in it cannot even articulate why they’re engaging in it or accurately describe their enemies when they are asked to do so.
So many come to the occult and seek healing and spellswork while never considering that their politics may be a product of their trauma and that they might not be able to mend if they are unwilling to drop their chosen labels. If you are serious about your evolution, you must be willing to put anything and everything on the chopping block to hear your soul and give yourself what you need to flourish.
Leave Your Politics at the Door
I’ll say again – I will never ask you about your worldview when you reach out to me. I know that if you have no respect for human life I will sniff that out and I will cease working with you. If your response to what happened was horror or something along the lines of “nobody deserves to die for their opinions” you are my people and I welcome you with open arms.
To the types who cheered or justified this – my immediate instinct is to say you have no idea what you are calling into existence but rationally I cannot accept that. You know exactly what you’re doing and it is disgusting. You claim to be oppressed but if you were as oppressed as you say you are you would not have been able to call Charlie a Nazi for years while being left alone; the state would have disappeared you in the middle of the night and no one would have heard from you again.
There are times when open violence cannot be avoided but it is tragic, it is ugly, and it should only be embraced when all other options have been exhausted. You guys got somebody shot who wanted to talk – you were far from exhausting your options, and I will have no sympathy for you when you get burned by your own actions.
You are cultivating a timeline I want no part in and I will have nothing to do with any of your lot going forward just the same as I have washed my hands of all Qtards, all black pillers, all people calling for civil war – all of it. If you want that, go have it somewhere far away from me.
And I know there are people in the “everything is fake” camp who think I am getting roped into a psyop – for me, this has little to do with the assassination itself. A lot of people have shown me who they are and I cannot unsee it. The blood on the ground could be a prop from a Hollywood studio and it would do nothing to change my opinion about the ghouls who think this was a good thing. To whatever extent this is a psyop, dancing on the man’s grave plays right into the hands of the people behind it.
Closing out, I’m going to share a video that I think says everything that needs to be said about what happened to Charlie. I want everyone with a conscience to keep this video in mind the next time someone tries to tell you another person is a fascist, a racist, a sexist, or an all around horrible person while failing to present their views with context and telling you that you are just as bad as they are if you listen to them.
